The Brotherfurnace ash content determination muffle furnace is a dedicated laboratory box furnace designed to meet the requirements of standardized ash testing procedures across coal analysis, food science, soil science, cement quality control, and polymer characterization. Based on the BR-12N series 1200°C platform, this muffle furnace provides the precise temperature control, uniform chamber environment, and programmable thermal profiles required by international testing standards, including ISO, ASTM, and GB methods for ash content and loss on ignition (LOI) determination.
The compact single-phase models (1–27 L) are particularly suited to analytical laboratory benchtops, where multiple samples must be processed reliably and repeatedly with minimal operator intervention.

Uniform Chamber Temperature Distribution. Mullite fiber insulation and optimized heating element layout ensure excellent temperature uniformity across the full chamber volume, eliminating hot or cold spots that could compromise sample-to-sample consistency in multi-crucible ash runs.
Compact Bench-Top Models for Laboratory Use The 1 L to 27 L single-phase models fit standard laboratory benches and fume hood configurations, with a cool-running exterior (below 60°C) that is safe for installation adjacent to analytical balances and other sensitive equipment.
Programmable Ramp and Soak Cycles Ash determination procedures require controlled heating rates to avoid sample spattering and ensure complete combustion. The 50-segment controller allows exact replication of prescribed heating schedules for consistent, auditable results.
Overheat Protection Built-in over-temperature alarm prevents thermal runaway that could damage samples, crucibles, or compromise test validity.
