The BR-14S series 1400°C muffle furnace bridges the gap between general-purpose laboratory box furnaces and specialist high-temperature equipment. With a maximum temperature of 1400°C and a recommended working temperature of 1300°C, this chamber furnace handles a broad range of advanced ceramic sintering, refractory material testing, metal powder processing, and thermal analysis applications that exceed the capability of standard 1200°C equipment.
Fitted with silicon carbide (SiC) rod heating elements and S-type thermocouple temperature measurement, the BR-14S delivers excellent temperature uniformity and long element service life even under continuous high-temperature operation. The polycrystalline mullite fiber lining and reinforced furnace roof construction ensure structural integrity over extended duty cycles.

SiC Rod Heating Elements Silicon carbide heating elements provide reliable, high-watt-density heating to 1400°C with good oxidation resistance. Suitable for both oxidizing and mildly reducing atmospheres, offering greater versatility than resistance wire elements.
S-Type Thermocouple for Accurate High-Temperature Measurement S-type (platinum-rhodium) thermocouple ensures precise temperature measurement at elevated temperatures, with better stability and accuracy than K-type sensors at the 1300–1400°C range.
50-Segment PID Programmable Control Supports complex sintering and firing profiles with up to 50 programmable ramp-and-soak segments, overheat alarm, and PID auto-tuning.
Scalable Chamber Sizes: 1 L to 1000 L Available across 14 standard sizes from 1 L bench-top models to 1000 L industrial-scale chamber furnaces, with both single-phase and three-phase power configurations.
Upper or Side Door Options Optional top-loading or side-opening door configurations keep operators away from the heat source during loading and unloading — an important ergonomic and safety consideration for frequent-use laboratory environments.
