Equipment Overview
At the upper boundary of laboratory atmosphere furnace capability, the Brother 1700°C box-type atmosphere furnace is built for research and processes that demand both extreme temperature and precise atmosphere control in the same instrument. Molybdenum disilicide (MoSi₂) heating elements sustain temperatures up to 1700°C with long-term stability, opening access to sintering conditions required for high-performance technical ceramics, refractory materials, and specialized inorganic compounds that cannot be processed at lower temperatures.
Despite its extreme temperature capability, the furnace retains the full sealed-chamber design, vacuum pre-purge workflow, and programmable control that characterize the entire Brother atmosphere furnace series — ensuring that process repeatability and atmosphere quality are never compromised at high temperature.
