Vacuum Annealing Furnace(Molybdenum Hot Zone)
- Temperature Uniformity:±3℃~±5℃
- Ultimate Vacuum:6.7×10⁻⁴ Pa ~ 7×10⁻¹ Pa
- Atmosphere Types:High Vacuum / N₂ / Ar / H₂
- Application:Stainless steel, Ti alloy, Superalloy, Tool steel, Non-ferrous metals
Equipment Overview
This vacuum annealing furnace uses a molybdenum foil hot zone, with a maximum operating temperature of 1350°C. It is well suited for annealing, stress relieving, and solution treatment of refractory metals, titanium alloys, superalloys, and stainless steel. Thanks to its high vacuum level and clean processing environment, it can also handle sintering and degassing applications where atmosphere control matters.
Features
Molybdenum Foil Hot Zone The heating elements and radiation shielding are both made of molybdenum, which performs reliably at extreme temperatures and introduces no contamination into the process. The maximum operating temperature reaches 1350°C.
Circumferential Heating Design: Molybdenum heating strips are arranged around the full circumference of the chamber, ensuring even heat distribution from all sides. Temperature uniformity across the working zone is within ±5°C.
High Vacuum System A mechanical pump and diffusion pump combination achieves an ultimate vacuum of ≤7×10⁻³ Pa under cold, no-load conditions — sufficient for bright annealing of most metals without any protective atmosphere.
Stainless Steel Inner Chamber The interior is made of clean stainless steel, keeping outgassing to a minimum and making the chamber easy to maintain.
PLC Control with Touchscreen HMI Process parameters including temperature ramp, hold time, and cooling sequence are programmed through a high-definition touchscreen. The built-in PLC handles automatic execution from start to finish, with full data logging throughout.
Inert Gas Cooling Argon or nitrogen backfill can be introduced for accelerated cooling when required, helping shorten cycle times without affecting surface quality.
Optional Accessories
External rapid cooling system — brings the furnace down from operating temperature to 180°C in under one hour
Multi-layer molybdenum loading rack — allows stacking of multiple workpieces per run, increasing batch capacity
Water cooling machine — supports stable thermal management of the furnace shell and seals
